Beginning Monday, April 1, 2019, the area known as Tournament Point on the east (or “Flats”) side of Pace Bend Park, will become Day Use Only. No camping will be permitted. The area will be gated and park staff will open and close the gates according to posted Day Use hours (Sunrise to Civil Twilight). All visitors must exit the area at the end of Day Use hours and no access (vehicle or pedestrian) is allowed when the gates are closed.
Travis County Parks is modifying the use of Tournament Point in order to promote an enjoyable experience for visitors and to guard against environmental damage.
