Construction on Pecan St affecting entrance to the park
The construction on Pecan Street at SH 130 will resume on September 9, and be complete in early November. The timing of these phases are dependent on weather and other factors. During this road construction the park entrance on Killingsworth will be open from 7 am to closing seven days week. Thanks This is a breakdown of the Phases: • Phase 2, Step 1 (Starting September 9): Impact Way will fully close during this phase, and Sunlight Near Way will be open to right in/right out traffic only. Any traffic turning left onto or from Pecan Street must detour to Biltmore Avenue. An additional left turn lane will also be added on Biltmore Avenue permanently in the existing median to help reduce delays. • Phase 2, Step 2: The northbound lanes of Sunlight Near Way will close during this phase, with Impact Way reopening for right in/right out traffic only. Any left turning traffic must continue to detour to Biltmore Avenue. • Phase 3: This phase includes work on the westbound lanes

Know Before You Go
While the park provides access to the listed activities, Travis County Parks does not provide any equipment.
Travis County Parks’ BMX Racetrack opened in 2015 and ranks among the top tracks in the nation. It is one of few to meet new UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) specifications as well as all USA BMX requirements. The 5M start hill propels riders down the first 30 foot wide straight to the first asphalt turn. In all, the track has three turns and runs 1000 feet. A special coating process called Skimming has been applied to the surface to maintain uniformity and to help weatherize the track. In addition to the world class track interior, additional features such as a covered staging area, covered viewing area, and accessible concession and restroom areas make this track one of a kind.
Track operation times can be found at Capitol City BMX.
