-Always wear a life jacket on the Highland Lakes, which are now more than 100 feet deep in places. -Never swim alone and keep a close eye on every member of your group. -Avoid letting dogs swim near floating algae mats and take care to rinse dogs with clean water after they swim.

Travis County Judge Order 2025-04; Related to Declaration of Disaster regarding Heavy Rainfall and Flash Flooding and Waterway Ban on Lake Travis. All previous Orders placing restrictions on the recreational use of the Lake Travis waterways, including Order 2025-3, are hereby terminated and there are no current use restrictions necessitated by the disaster.

Reservations are open through August 31st. The full month of September reservations will be available beginning Friday August 1st, 2025. *NOTICE* New campsite fees in effect since January 1, 2025.
